I don't know what you in "blog world" thought my news was but everybody in my church thought I was going to announce that my Mom was pregnant!:) Smile.....When you have been driving since you were 15 and wait to get your license at 18 it is Super exciting!:)

I am 16, and where I live, you can get your permit at 14 and license at 16 (if you take Driver's Ed). I decided to wait until I was 15 to get my permit, so now I'm just practicing and taking lessons from my parents. =) When I'm 18 I will take a test to get my license without having to do Driver's Ed.
Driving did not appeal at all to me at first, but now it's actually kind of fun, although I'm still pretty cautious. I have driven 65 mph though (and yes, that was the speed limit)! =) But I haven't tried the interstate yet...yikes! Kind of freaks me out.

Congratulations! I can't wait to get mine. I'm 19 and driving is not my favorite thing, but I really need to get my license's. So, I am determined to get them before the end of summer.

3 years is a LONG time to wait to get your licence! :O Around here we can get our licence 9 months after we get our learners, which is at 15 1/2 if you take DTS.

Actually that thought did cross my mind, b/c you have a large family and your mom looks so young! But then I wondered if your news was something else like getting a license. :) Hooray for you!

Oh, Congratulations Mckenzie! That is SO awesome. I just renewed my permit b/c it expired and am going to get my license really soon too... do you have any tips for taking the test?? :D
