Hi Everybody!
A couple of weeks ago the farmer that owns the 87 acre field across from our house harvested half the field. One half of the field was soy beans and the other half we were not sure what it was.
That particular day the farmer had the "unknown" side of the field harvested. My mom was out running when they started harvesting, and much to her surprise they were harvesting green beans!!! Well anyway..... the tractors left soooo many green beans behind that my momma sent us right over to glean away!

There were so many out there that momma decided to try canning them. Thankfully a very sweet lady from our church loaned us her pressure canner! Thank you Mrs. Susan! Here are some pics from our busy day in the kitchen.
