Rainy Days and Late nights...

Good Morning Readers!

The last 24 hrs. have been a whirlwind for me! :) Yesterday Momma and I worked, getting ready for her and three of the kids to go out of town for the day. Last night Momma needed to go grocery shopping and wanted me to plan the menu for the next week. She decided for me to go along and do the driving and shopping!:) [smile] The shopping went just fine, but....well.... um..... Lets just say that I am a fairly good driver during the day, and I did fine on the way to the store in the dark.... I just messed up a bit in the Kroger parking lot at 9:30 at night:)!! Luckily nobody saw me:) LOL!!

When we got home we unloaded groceries, and I fixed chili and corn bread muffins for Momma to take. After I got the kitchen cleaned up, I hemmed and ironed Matthew's new boy scout pants. I went to bed about 1:30am and had to get up about 5:50am:), so needless to say, I am a little sleepy. Since I am keeping Malachi (for those of you who haven't had the opportunity to get to know this little turkey, I encourage you to visit my momma's blog and have a good laugh) I would appreciate a prayer:)

Despite our wishes for "Miss February" to bring cheerful sunny days, she has disappointed us greatly thus far! Nothing but cool air, gray skies, and only heaven knows how much rain! Everyone in the barn yard is in foul humor:) Momma asked me to take some pictures of the lakes that have formed around our yard and I thought I would share them with you.
