It seems each year I find everything I need for my summer wardrobe fairly easily, except for one thing... You guessed it, a swim suit. Now don't get me wrong there is a huge selection in many stores around me, but none of them seem to be my style;)
This year I was so very grateful to find a swim suit online that I absolutely love. We found it at Lands End . That particular site's swimsuits are extremely well made. Like most sites they have clothing/swim suits that are not so modest, but they also have a good selection of full coverage swim wear for girls and women. If you have not already found a swim suit, I would encourage you to take a look at their site.
Here are two different swim suits that we ordered. I loved both of them but I kept the blue polka dot one:)
Sorry, the pictures are not very good.
If you have a favorite modest swim suit site please share the link!
Happy swim suit shopping ladies...
Blessings,
McKenzie

Hi McKenzie!
One place we've gotten our suits from:
http://www.simply-modest.com/posecom/index.php
The business was started by and is owned by a stay-at-home daughter. She does some suits pre-made, and also custom makes suits to your specifications. You can get them whatever length you want, in the skirt, sleeves, and leggings. You can also buy the patterns if you'd like to sew your own.
We are going to sew ours this year, because we all grew out of the ones we had custom made several years ago! :)

I like lands end! And I love the polka dot one you choose!!
Have a blessed week!
Love Land's End, and LLBean for finding a more modest, fuller cut suit! You can get some really nice stuff, although it can be kinda expensive. That's where my sister and I got ours. :)
I found My swim suit at Land's End last year Too! They are expensive, but Very modest compared to all of the trashy bikinies and other swiming things!
thanks for posting!

There's a great place that sells modest, feminine swim dresses online: http://www.becomingswimdress.com/
Personally, I don't have that much of a problem finding swim suits because I hate swimming! I just wear normal clothes when going to the beach or pool and wade a little. = )

Kate
Hi Lizzy! I got my last bathing suit from Lands End and it was really great. I need to go ahead and order one for this year. What color should I get? I had cobalt blue last year and I was thinking of pink and black this year. I really like the one you got. Blue is and good color on you and I like the poka dots!
Love,
Jane
The polka dots are cute! I think we've ordered swim suits from Lands End before, but since then we found some at http://www.wholesomewear.com/ They're probably more pricey than Lands End (I didn't compare) but they're good suits and definitely modest!

I got a swimsuit from Like Ricki, and I love it. Here's the link. http://www.limericki.com/

Hi McKenzie!
My name is Annie and I have been reading your blog for a while now. I found you through Simply Vintagegirl, and I hope you don't mind that I put a link to your blog on my link list. =)
My swimsuit consists of a high-necked one piece, plus a skirt (with shorts underneath) and a shirt. We found both the skirt and shirt at Target...they are made for exercising in, but they work great for swimming in! =) I think the material is some kind of nylon, maybe? If you want to be modest you have to be flexible! =)
Love in Christ,
~Annie~
Hi McKenzie! I don't know if you remember me...but I left a comment on this blog a looooong time ago and then had to email you to apologize for it. I totally didn't read the post about Scout and left a waaaay too cheery comment.
I love your swimsuit choices! I know how hard it is to fins a modest swimsuit! I like Lime Ricki also. The only downside are the prices. But cute suits though!
Mackenzie : )
Hello McKenzie!
I found a nice swim top and swim shorts from LandsEnd, as well, a few years ago and I love the cheerful colors and LandsEnd has lots of good options.
Thanks for sharing!
Joyfully in Jesus,
