Trip to the Zoo

A couple of months ago we decided to head south to see a little town that my mama lived in for a few years of her childhood. She mostly grew up in the north, but for a few years spent some time in south Georgia. We visited a zoo while we were there.

Can anyone identify what kind of a snake this is? He was NOT part of the exhibits! We were on a walkway and I realized he was within a foot of mine and Matthew's heads! Yuck!!!

South Georgia "chilren" :>) playin' in the swimmin' hole! I thought they were too cute to not take a picture. My mama played in that ditch when she was little, but it wasn't filled with water like it is now.

I thought this was so cool. I got to see the church that made the movies Fireproof, Facing the Giants and Fly Wheel!

Well, that was fun! I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Now my mama will be happy because she can delete that file off the computer! :>)
