Every fall a family in our church has the whole congregation down to their farm for a party. It is always so much fun and I look forward to it every year. There were so many fun things to do, from hay rides, log rolling, a kick-ball game, to simply enjoying sweet fellowship with friends.
The family that hosts the party allows the church to use the pond for baptisms. This year two children were baptized! It is such a precious thing to see the young ones publicly professing their faith in Jesus Christ and their fathers baptising them.
Our Pastor Mr. David leading us in song before the baptisms...

Mr. Danny speaking a blessing over his daughter Olivia before she was baptized.
"I baptize you my sister in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost."
Praise the Lord!!

A highlight from my fall this year is a once in a lifetime highlight--getting to see the Grand Canyon! Otherwise, sitting around a fire at my grandparents roasting marshmallows and listening to a razorback game. =)
Love the pics! The fall party was so much fun!
I think my favorites things about fall are roasted marshmallows, beautiful leaves, and
the Thanksgiving feast with friends and family.
Have a good one!

Fall is such a wonderful time of year!
I must say that my favorite part of the season would be Thanksgiving. It is such a wonderful opportunity to express your gratitude to God and man. Have a most excellent day!

Hi Kenzie! Your Sis here!
Yes Baptisms are a very sweet thing. I too love when one person chooses to follow God.
I did not see the song on your blog that you were talking about. But I bet it was funny!
I'm going to do a post soon. I know I've slacked.
Bye!
Hi McKenzie!
Looks like you had a wonderful time at the fall party! =) For several years a family at our church did almost the same thing - we had a bonfire, hayrack rides, food, games, etc... My favorite part was singing on the hayrack ride! Us girls even sang a few Christmas carols, much to the boys' annoyance. =) We brought glowsticks for the kids to play with, and then when we left I realized that the next day the family who lived on the farm would find lots of unactive glowsticks laying around. Oops. =)
Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Blessings,
~Annie~
Dear McKenzie,
Hello, how are you? :) I'm doing just great. I found your blog through your comment on Annie's blog, and I love it, and the name! I <3 pecans. =D
Ooh - a fall party! Looks so much fun! :) I love fall get-togethers. In autumn our church does a fall thing in our fellowship hall at church. We have relays, food, etc. I love it.
Blessings!
