John(our pastor's oldest son) and Johanna were married the beginning of this month. It was a very sweet wedding.

And last but not least a favorite Christmas cookie recipe!
Dusties:
1 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour (I used fresh ground whole wheat and it worked fine.)
1 cup pecans
Cream butter and sugar, add water and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour and pecans. Chill 3 or 4 hours. Shape into balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet on 325 for about 20 minutes. Cool slightly. Roll in powdered sugar. Makes 5 dozen (We didn't get that many out of it, maybe ours were bigger.)

Those are such beautiful pictures! She was a beatiful bride. I really love her dress. It's so nice to see a wedding dress thats not strapless! I love the Christmas picutures too. There very festive! See you Friday!
