The following is a short writing assignment I had in school this past year. I thought father's day was an appropriate time to share it!
Someone I Admire
A person whom I hold in high regard is my father. Though he is a broken vessel with sins as every other human being, he diligently seeks the Lord in every area of his life. Though many men around him have grown weary in their walk and their families have fallen away, my father still stands with open hands and a humble heart. I have learned many things from my father but I believe the most important lesson he has taught me is humility. I have often struggled in this area, but my father is a constant example as he honors those in his life who at times have not been worthy of honor. I hope that I learn from my father's example and strive to honor those in authority over me.
Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Good job!
My mom, sister, and I have been out of state for 3 weeks so we weren't home on Father's Day.
(My parents weren't even together for their anniversary)
Hi McKenzie!
I love your blog, and thought I'd just pop in and say hi!
P.S. Happy 16th! God Bless,
~Macy
Your daddy is a godly example to so many around him. The many times I've seen him drive an hour and a half (one way) to attend the men's meetings, when he was soooo tired, just shows where his heart is. Plus, he brings me a wonderful visit when he comes!! You are a very blessed young woman to have the family you have!
I love you!
Thank you everyone for your sweet comments.
