Thank you for your patience with my inconsistent posting lately! :) Here are the pictures from my sixteenth birthday that are long over due. :)
On the day of my birthday I had a relaxing day at home just enjoying my family and peaceful activities! Here are some pics from my day.
A dear friend made this lovely princess dress for me.
My sisters and I had lots of fun with it!
Me and our royal cat " Lord Fluffy"!
Me and my little "Bubbie" with my yummy cheese cake.
The day after my actual birthday my mom and I took off for Stone Mountain! I was so excited to be going off just the two of us. Throughout the entire trip we both were amazed at how much we could do in a small amount of time when we were not hauling all the kids!:) Even though we had a lot of fun I was constantly saying "Wouldn't Matt love this?" or " The little guys sure would love to do that!"
When we arrived at our destination we decided we wanted to hike the mountain. The lady at the front desk could not understand why we (especially my pregnant mother) did not want to ride the tram up the mountain and walk down!:p We made it up and down and the view was well worth it.
Dixie girl through and through!Me and Mom!
After our rather steamy hike we decided to do some milling around.
We were milling in and out of stores when we saw that the mini movie theater was going to show a movie in a few minuets, so we decided to go watch it! Neither one of us knew that we were about to be scared half to death! We waited in line and received glasses .... The movie was called a journey to the middle of the earth and I for one did not enjoy myself.:) At one point in the movie snakes jumped out at you and the rubber ropes under our seats started smacking our legs! Needless to say I screamed to high heavens and my legs came up in my seat for the rest of that terrible show.
After our 4D adventure we treated ourselves to fudge.
It was so good that we bought it again the next day!:p
Here are some more random shots of our delightful weekend!
A peaceful spot in one of the old homes we toured.
I think I am missing my hoop skirt in this shot!:)

My Aunt Kellie brought her children for an over night visit after our trip.
My dear cousin Abigail surprised me with this lovely cake!
It was just as yummy as it was beautiful.
Thank you dearest Abigail, and thank you all for my lovely present!Hope you enjoyed this little peak into my birthday!
Much Love and Many Blessings!

McKenzie,
You look so pretty in your dress! I have a hoop-skirt, but not a dress nearly as pretty as yours! You look so beautiful in it!

Loved the pictures.... and soooo glad y'all had a good time. You look so much like your mother! And just so you know, I think she is beautiful! Don't tell her I said that.
The mill picture was wonderful. That would be a good one to enter at the fair. 8+)
McKenzie,
Those are great pictures!
