Christmas Greetings!!
Every year my family celebrates Christmas on the 23rd and then on Christmas Eve we travel to my Momma's parents house to celebrate the actual Christmas day with them. This year however a very unwelcome visitor has invaded our home and changed all our Christmas plans... We have the FLU!!!!!
Momma has had it for three days and Mariah started running a fever a couple of hours ago. I drove to town today and picked up some groceries so I could fix some yummy treats. For dinner I made a Mexican dip recipe that someone from church shared with me. We did not have any sweet treats so I made frozen fruit salad and chocolate chip cookies. The Christmas lights are on, candles burning, cookies baking, It's A Wonderful Life is playing, and we are determined to make it as merry as we can! :)
If it is the Lord's will that I get sick, I pray that I do not become ill until my Momma is well!

Hope the flu doesn't continue to spread around your family! Have a merry Christmas anyhow! =) I couldn't get my family to watch It's a Wonderful Life but I love it! =)
