I hope you all have had a wonderful Saturday. Everyone here at Pecan Pastures sure did. It was so warm and sunny today with a delightful breeze. It was such a nice break from the cold weather.

My laundry helper... He collects the clips.
See... :)
A letter from a dear friend~ Email has become an absolute necessity in our fast passed society, but nothing is as wonderful as a handwritten letter in the mail box. Writing letters to friends has nearly become a thing of the past and I think we have lost something...

Your bread looks yummy! If you will bring me some different kinds the next time you come, I will pay you for it. Love you and so proud of the young lady you have become. Gran
Hey Ker!:)
I wish I could!! That is very cold.... Do you guys have dairy cows? I have dairy goats and I would love to have a milk cow! Maybe one day...
Thank you Gran! I would be happy to bring some bread, but I will not let you pay me! Love you~
WOW, that bread looks REALLY yummy :)
Glad to hear that you are having some warm weather, like my sis Ker already said... we're COLD out here. But I guess that is just our life!
Loved the pictures of Myles... SO sweet! I think it is so cool that you can hang your laundry outside all year, we all get really excited out here when the weather is FINALLY warm enough to hang laundry :)
I agree with you about letter writing, it is SO much more fun to receive a hand written letter then an email... there just seems to be more love attatched to it :)
McKenzie,
I just came across your blog! I enjoyed this post! I have been thinking about the same thing you mentioned in your post about letters. Last week it was such a treat to receive a long hand written letter in the mail from a friend. Emails are very handy, but there is something so wonderful about a hand written letter!
Blessings!

Thank you Jenny! When does it start getting warmer where you live?
Hello Amy! Thank you for stopping by and for commenting. I cannot wait to visit your blog!
Hey McKenzie,
Yup have Jersey cows, we used to milk goats too:)
Ker
That is so neat Ker!
I love Jersey cows:) Thank you for answering my question.
Have a great day!
It starts getting warmer usually around beginning or middle of March. But every year it is different. We can still get snow in May :) But usually the ground is dry enough to start seeding end of April/beginning of May.

the bread looks wonderful! :) just so you know, I am Emy's younger sister. :) I enjoy your blog very much! :D
I agree! There is nothing quite like getting a letter in the mail. I have been pen-pals with a friend of mine since we were 9 or 10, and we are still writing. On average, we usually get a letter once every week and a half. It's great fun!
It's so meaningful for someone to take the time to actually WRITE a letter these days. =) I think letters are twice as fun as e-mails, especially because they are personalized. I love picking out cute stationary to use. =)
Your bread looks really tasty. I can practically smell it! What type is it? Bread-baking seems to be somewhat of a lost art these days, too. Good for you for keeping it up!
Hello Julia!
Thank you for commenting!
