I am so grateful that fall has finally come to Pecan Pastures! The cooler air and the delightful breeze is a welcome treat after a hot and humid summer.
Yesterday our family had a very busy day. We left our house at 9:30 am and did not get home until 12:30 pm! My siblings and I were woken up about 6:30 and we all went out to feed and water our animals. We then came in and all washed up for a quick breakfast and dashed upstairs to get ready. Daddy yelled up the stairs that it was time to load up in the van which set all the slow pokes in a frenzy:) * It takes our family of eight 20 to 25 minutes to get in the van and another 5 minutes to get everyone buckled up!*
Here is our new van:)
We had Malachi's picture taken at a studio that we have been using since I was a baby. It takes a while to get there but the photography is well worth it!
Here are some pictures I took while we were there.
When the photo shoot was complete, we went to visit my grandparents for a few minutes. Then we were off to our church's annual fall gathering!
Even though our church is small we have our own boy scout troop.
My brother really enjoys being involved in it and spending time with other like-minded young men. This picture is of my brother doing a board of review.
Two of my dearest friends! My mother and my "Aunt" Donna:)
There has been a "baby boom" at our little church. Pictured are (from L to R) Nathaniel(10 weeks), Lily Beth (13 weeks) and our little Myles (6 weeks). This picture was too cute not to share! :>) There are more babies on the way too!
This evening before I went running with my momma I took these pictures of some land that is right across the road from our home. As I looked out acoss the sea of cotton I remember my grandfather telling me stories of when he and his sibilings would come home from school and pick a fifty pound bag of cotton a piece! He also said that cotton was the only snow we southerners ever see!:)

Love the Pictures! In the Lousiana, where are relatives live, there are alot of cotton fields!! We have to pass by them everytime we visit our family.
Have a Wonderful Week!
Thank you Hannah and Giann,
Yes, I took all of the pictures. We "borrowed" the photographers set while we were waiting on her! :>)

Dear McKenzie~
Your new van is so nice! We are praying for God to provide us with a 12 or 15 passenger as ours broke down a little over a year ago and it has been a challenge getting us all somewhere. Besides that, 2 of our other vehicles are breaking down too. God will provide!
The other pictures are great! Have fun with your precious little brother:)
Blessings,
~Jenna~

What a blessing to get a big van! God miraculously provided the means for us to buy a 15 pass. several years ago so I know what a blessing it is! =)
