Greetings Dear Readers...

You ever faithful bloggers that whip out your wonderful daily posts make me tired!:)
I have finally come to the conclusion that I am a lousy blogger:) Thank you for your patience! I know, you're saying to yourself, "OK McKenzie snap out of it, please get on with your post!":)lol!

While doing some research for a paper I am writing for my government curriculum, I found some really neat quotes by George Washington. I thought I would share them with you all.

"Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples' liberty's teeth."

"If freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter."

"I have no other view than to promote the public good, and am unambitious of honors not founded in the approbation of my country."

"It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible."

"It will be found an unjust and unwise jealousy to deprive a man of his natural liberty upon the supposition he may abuse it."

I love studying the lives of the men that helped form our country. There is so much knowledge to be gleaned from great men like George Washington. I will always be grateful for their sacrifice and devotion.

~ Much Love & Many Blessings~
