A Little Laughter For the Night...

Just few minutes ago, I got out of the shower and saw that the light in my bedroom was on. I knew that Mariah (7) had been put to bed and was supposed to be asleep, so I opened the door to see what she was doing up. When I walked in, I saw that she had gotten out of the bed and was frantically reaching between the head board and the wall. I in my "auxiliary parent tone":) asked her why she was out of bed and on the floor. She quickly jumped up and told me that one of her silly bands had fallen behind the bed and she couldn't reach it. I told her that I would get it in the morning and to please go to sleep. She looked up at me with the most pitiful expression she could muster, and begged me to get it for her. I reluctantly climbed across my sister's bed and hung over the side looking for the bright blue silly band. I finally was able to retrieve it and as I sat up trying to get over my major head rush, she dramatically grabbed my arm and exclaimed, "Glosscias McKenzie, Glosscias "(she meant Gracias!;)
