Busy Days

Hey everyone! Last night I saw a notification on my iPod that someone commented on my last blog post. I have been so busy lately that I must confess I didn't even realize how long it had been since I last posted. :/ A big thanks to Miss Hannah who encouraged me to post! :) :) :)

Friday Evening Ramblings...

It feels like forever since I last posted! My life has shifted up to a very fast mode, and I am trying to keep up! For an update on the precious little ones that were born over a week ago... My little boy kid died a couple of days after the birth. It was so very sad and a big let down. I am learning that living on a farm has lots of excitement but its share of sadness as well. On a happier note, Little Miss Daisy is doing very well and is a favorite among the children.

Even though the pictures below make me a little sad, I thought the twins looked so cute together, and I wanted to share them with you all.

I miss feeding them together. They were quite a pair!:)

Strawberry Picking

The day was gorgeous and we picked a bunch!

Malachi enjoyed eating and feeding us!

I made 12 containers of freezer jam. Very easy and VERY yummy! Mom is using them in smoothies (much healthier). Here is the recipe she made for breakfast this morning:

Frozen bananas

Fresh strawberries

Vanilla Yogurt

Spinach (besides the green color, you couldn't even tell it was in there!)

Orange juice (only use a little if you like them thick!)

Blend well

Go pick some strawberries. They won't be around for long!
